Term 2 - using interesting vocabulary. The wow word I used in my bird poem was swoop. Something I could improve is to add more information about my bird.
In Inquiry with Mrs Palamountain we drew a NZ wetlands insect. This is a dragon fly. It is pink and it has hollow wings. It lives in a tree.
Something I did well was the colour.

Next step: understand more challenging vocabulary.
In Inuqiry we made a diorama to show what we learned about the signing of the Treaty of Waitaigi at Clive. I assessed my diorama as a 5 because added extra learning.
Squares- WALA: Addition and subtraction with numbers to 1000 alongside learning about time and reading/drawing clocks.
Next Step: To use a range of strategies to solve addition and subtraction problems.
WALT: find and stretch words using our thumbs. We also look for blends, chunks of sounds rhyme and word endings to help us with unknown words.
Next Step: attempt unknown words and read on and think about what would make sense.
