Maths knowledge term 4

 

 

This term one of the skills I have worked on is to instantly recall bonds to 100.

Something I learned was my takeaways.  Something I need to work on is my Numbers to 100.

Cubism trip

 

We went to the mtg to learn more about cubism. 

Something I enjoyed was doing the art.

Something I would like to know more about is more Art.

Maths measurement

 W.A.L.T.       Use ruler accurately to draw ZD shapes.

Something I did well was Measuring with a ruler

Something I am working on is remembering to write my numbers after I have measured.

Procedural writing + measurement

       

 

This procedure could be improved by a list of materials and by making the folding clearer.

Something I did well was making the handle.

Something I could do better is cutting.

Term 4 Our new classroom

 

W.A.L.T.     use interesting word to describe. The world I like best in this poem is crashing A word I really liked in Maneas poem is concrete.

I am in stage the stage 4 group with Mrs Scott.

I am good at adding facts to 10.

I am working on skip counting in 10's

WALT reread for more meaning, think about what I have read to make sure that it makes sense. I am also learning to self monitor.

Something I can do confidently is divide objects in half.

Reading term 2 In reading this week l read the book wet on the reading eggpress App. I used the read-back function. Something I learned was that l hippos live in Africa. l passed all of the comprehension tests. I needed to re-read 5 chapters to pass.

In Inquiry with Mrs Palamountain we drew a NZ wetlands insect. This is a dragon fly. It is pink and it has hollow wings. It lives in a tree. Something I did well was the colour. Something I could improve is writing more words.

WALA: the setting, plot and characters. We have. Reared a setting with sock puppets and recorded what the characters said. We are able to summarise a range of texts. Next step: understand more challenging vocabulary.

Yesterday Clive kids went to the waka and had so much fun and in the Clive kids rowed the boot with the paddle were getting tired with buddle some part came to help us in the boot. 

 In writing we are learning to write recounts.
